Default Battleship

Well I went to see this one today.

If you like CGI animation and lots of it ... this one is for you.

The acting is a little cheezy at times ... the blonde keeps bouncing her "Bettys" ... and the Aliens are a little pathetic .... but .... it's science fiction afterall .... (or is it ). Just check your Logic at the door ....

... oh .... and the Mighty Mo gets put into action by some old Vets

Love the "drop the Anchor - 360 move" lol.

P.S. Lots of neat Hawaii shots (Missouri, the Punchbowl).

I think they keep making them because they make a fortune at the box office. They are what the majority of the cinema going population want to see and be entertained by.

The arty farty 'film noirs' and deep meaningful talkies etc make peanuts because no one is interested

Then I guess we need to ask the Jacques question ... WHY did you go? Didn't watch the trailer? Thought it was a true story? lol.

I thought it was a romantic comedy, like Titanic with guns.

No way. Too scarey to be that .... I was shaking in my boots ... those aliens were nasty and frightening ....

and the noise, it was so REAL ... the space craft ... they were designed to a Collectors "T", right down to the correct rivets and finish.

Thumbs down Battleship

Hello,
My family and I saw the movie last weekend and we did not care for it.
