Default cigaret case 'luftwaffe'

Hi all,

A year ago i bought a german cigaret case when I was on a holiday in Bulgaria. Now i don't know if its real or fake. Can you guy's help me on this one?

Looks like a postwar fantasy item, sorry

I wouldnt call it a "Fantasy item". Did they have items like this during the war that were private purchase: YES. Is yours real? Hard to say. Too many items like this being faked in the market at present. Because they are too often faking them and because items like this are at the moment too common, I would avoid such an item but I just wanted to point out that they did make items like this during the war.

I can say for sure it is not real, there is a whole alley of tables selling tourist souvenirs and you can find loads of similar stuff. There is one major and several smaller manufacturers of such pieces and the "tourist alley" is VERY wel supplied with such things, also you can find them in antique shops.
