Default Polish Badge collection - any help?

In talks with a seller about a wide variety of Polish badges that appear older~ ww2 era?

Anything good here? Any guidelines for value on average?

Heavily faked. Much, much, much better pics needed, back and front and attachment devices. Did I say much too much. Too much!

Hello Wood,

Any good indicators of original pieces? What ballparking would there be for originals?

You need close up pictures. Originals may run from few hundred to few thousand a piece. Depending on regiment, desirability and rarity. Rarest are armoured units and aviation regiments. Regiments that were stationed in Soviet occupied part of Pland are rarer too (not too many survived). Cavalry are sought after. Enameled are usually officer versions, sometimes made of silver and very desirable.

Hard too tell what you have here based on general photo.

First check the nuts. If there is the name "Panasiuk", they are modern reproductions.

Not a period original IMO. Possibly an older copy, from the 1970s

Tom,

Thanks for the feedback.

I actually picked up another in a completely separate group today - looks tied to the ww2 2nd corps - any chance here either?

Appreciate the help!

Scott
