Looks like a great group and I like the keys as well, they have been there and done that as the medals.

I've never seen tank keys before but older BMW motorcycle keys look just like these.

The only thing that makes me a little suspicious is the fact that the key says " Germany" and "importe d'allemagne". If the key was from the war you figure it would not have English on it.

Made in Germany or Germany was used before the war already. In 1887 our british friends decided, products from Germany should be marked " made in Germany" . To show that those are lower quality products. With the time although it changed to be something positive and stood for good quality. Maybe they are Motorcycle keys i only can say what the son of the vet told me. And aviously his faher told him those where the tank keys. The silver one was how it looks like duplicated in france. In any case i was not there so i don´t know. By the way tractor keys look alike. I personally believe it because i think they needed some key who fits them all. Imagine they lost the key in the war. The tank would have been stuck and useless. I guess those days nobody was worried about the tank being stolen ((((((-: I would like that you guys put the focus on the medals. Is the tankbadge kind of uncommon ??
