Default Tank Assault Badge opinions welcomed!

This has been sitting in my collection for a bit now and I'm trying to discern maker and authenticity. I'd love to get feedback!

Sorry, but this is a very common fake.

I agree not a good one. They made them to fool and have done so to many. Cliff

Thank you Tom, what are the key identifiers in this particular forgery? I am trying to learn so I can pick a good one in the future?

Exclamation Hi msams

.......for this FAKE only one key identifier is needed: the placement of the makers mark. It should be higher up the reverse side behind the swastika just under the hinge. That's what makes this particular FAKE so easy to recognize.

Happy collecting!
