Default Strange Gasmask can

Gents,

I found this cardboard gas-mask can.
Cannot find out whether its org. ww2 Wehrmacht or a first model post war Bundeswehr.

never saw this version..

First of all it is neither Wehrmach, nor Bundeswehr. It civil paper canister for gamsak, and it is not even german IMO ( if rememer correctly french or belgian ).

Czech canister for the Czech CO1 gas mask from the 1950's.

It's for this gas mask (This photo shows a different canister but the cardboard one was also used for this one). These masks were intended for Civil or industrial use.
