Default Value of 8.8 cm x sk 571c 30

A friend of mine here in Norway got a Krigsmarine 8.8 cm x sk 571c 30 shell that is believed to be for drill purpose.

Any input on the value if this is much appreciated.

With regards,
Stian

I presume it is " Leichte 8,8cm Exerzier Patrone 30 L/4,5".
I've never seen it before................ the only information (without a picture) comes from M.Dv.Nr.170/16 "Merkbuch über die Munition für die 8,8 cm SK L/45, 8,8 cm Flak L/45 (Nachgebohrte Rohre), 8,8 cm SK C/30,8,8 cm SK C/30 U, 8,8 cm Flak 18 M, 8,8 cm Flak 36 M und 8,8 cm KM 41 der Schiffs- und Marine-Küstenartillerie".

Thank you for your reply Klarkon, I am sure you are right about the type identification. Not really my collecting area but I can probably buy this so it would be nice to know about how much I should expect to offer if I would buy it.

With regards,
Stian

I also have never seen one before. In the US, it might go for as much as $500 to the right person - selling it for $300 would be the minimum expected over here. In Europe, I would think its maximum value would be 200 Euros. 100 Euros would be a good buy. In my most humble opinion.

I disagree.
German made 8,8 cm Exerzierpatronen are very rare, no mather what type.
This is the third one of this type i've seen for sale in 30 years.
I think a price of at least 450 € would be more then reasonable.

Great find by the way !
