Default General Bigeaed

Over the years there are certain men that rise to the surface that are in a sense real men and leaders who inspire you
They suffer but lead through thick and thin
Here’s one of my personal hero’s

I will attempt to make a thread to honor this man

If anyone has something to add please do so as I am sure there is more that’s out there

Owen

The use of British WW2 camouflage Windproof camouflage became the French Indochina trademark
The general wore it as a consistent badge of fashion and honor

He has numerous suits
Each tailored losing the hood and added full zip

The early suits had the original British cut simply with hood removed
Later full British suits were dismantled creating a new suit based on the original cut but tailored giving a sharper fit

Here’s the boss wearing an original British cut suit

I have known Windproof for 40 years and it’s still a mystery to me how it was made
It’s beyond complex

Windproof was the generals favorite pattern and it’s easy to see why
He wore others but the sausage pattern lived on and was eventually copied by the Vietnamese themselves to become the bulletproof pattern
