Default United States Army 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne),

Have an opportunity to purchase complete Greens and Blues to a Warrant officer with the United States Army 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne).

Is this a desireable Unit and any approximate price would be helpful.
Was a Helo Pilot, with complete uniforms, shirts Tie, boots, berets....

Any help gratefully accepted....

Yes, it would be a desirable item. Value depends on what types of insignia are on the coats, and how well they are documented. Age is also a factor, as we are looking at a span of over 30 years for this regiment.

If they are recent and unnamed, you are basically looking at a sum-of-its-parts value. Named/documented/researched would have a considerable affect on value.

How much are they asking for the grouping? Asking price can be a big help with questions like these...

Unless your guy was someone famous, I don't see $600 worth of stuff there. I do need to caveat that with the fact I don't collect modern stuff.

Best regards.

here are the pics with attached insignias, was a Blackbird Pilot reviewer as well from my information. That asking price is a landed "all-in" price and is quite a large and heavy carton to ship...think over 100.00 in shipping for sure...anyway appreciate all your thoughts....

My only concern, and admittedly it's nit-picky, is the 160th SOAR DUIs being worn with the Army Aviation School SSI. Is that allowed? Or should there be school/aviation DUIs instead?

A trivial matter, I know, but it did catch my eye.

Curious about the device on the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal (AFEM) should only be an authorized star or arrowhead, can anyone identify? The Air Medal device does not appear to an OLC or its crooked.

I would presume there are many more awards and service continuity with this member evident with the career progression to CW5 and the multicam uniforms.

I also noted the SOAR DUI's with the aviation school patch. I was at FT Rucker in the 509th (pathfinders) supporting this unit as well as participating in many joint operations with the 160th SOAR CONUS and down range.

I would believe this to be a legit grouping, with a few oddities. On the same hand with some basic knowledge these can economically be spun up.
