Hébergé par Imagesia, le meilleur hébergeur d'images du net !

There are 3 screws missing on the left
On the right one part is missing and i cannot assemble completely the right part.
In the middle, one part is missing

Here some internal view, 2 glasses are broken and i don't know if others parts are missing

Hello Arnaud,

I also had an incomplete TZF some time ago.

Sold it since. Missing pieces can be found from time to time.

Cheers

Good example for parts, but appears that while the ocular lens assembly itself is in good shape, the focusing worm assembly gear and hood has been taken off (strange to see why anyone would cannibalize it - other than someone damaged it so badly and lost/threw away the parts). Due mostly to amateurs who want to clean it/remove dust and grease from the lenses without understanding how it's put together in the first place. Ebay is the graveyard of amateur mistakes and as Duf says, you can find parts from time to time.

Unfortunately it will be almost impossible to get the exact match for the worm gear, without getting a complete assembly (including lenses), etc from the other fellow on this string - or have someone rebuild all from scratch - at a great deal of cost. I know, I have had parts rebuilt for me - not cheap.

The other unfortunate thing is the cracked reticles. As Carles noted, both the revolving scale disc and the elevating triangles plate are damaged and irreplaceable without an exact match or replacement of the entire objective reticle box - again - very hard to find another. You practically need to find another complete telescope or 80% complete telescope, but you'll pay high for that too, so its a losing game. The solution to the problem is for amateur "whiz kids" to stop trying to fix/clean something they should not be messing with in the first place. Leave the dust and spots alone.

Sorry
