Default Need help and opinions on LW badges

There is a local auction ending on Thursday, and I wanted your opinions on these badges. I think they look good, but am not around them enough to know. I hope I took good enough pictures for you to tell, and I realize in hand is the best way. Thanks for any help you may give.
Dave

Don't both with that one, common "banana beak" fake.

The flak badge is a fine original, but the Para is fake like the PO.

Thought you might be interested in how high these badges sold for.
Paratrooper badge sold for $430, Pilot /Ob badge sold for $650 and the flak badge sold for $240.

New auctions bring out the kreeps selling loads of fakes. TRYING to sell their fakes. These are typically on consignment and shilled up to try to get some uninformed collector to get in on the excitement of a rising auction price. I have no doubt the shillers bid against themselves to try to create that self actualization in the form of a higher bid after higher bid. So don't for a moment believe all this krap really is selling. If not on consignment the auctioneer online can bid on his own junk and try to create the illusion.

Check out Affiliated Auctions. Look at those stunning Goering ciphers. Puke.

All you have to do is watch Butchek's auctions and see something sell for a huge amount that can't go for pennies on the dollar here on WAF. Auctions get people pumped up to spend and sometimes beyond the 'value' of the item. At least their stuff is genuine.

Brian is right, it's a well-known trick of ordinary cheats. Only the original badge from those shown, was bought by someone who knows what he is doing
