Default Imperial miniatures 2016

One of our younger members has taken an interest in collecting Imperial
miniatures and he brought to my attention that it has been quite some
time sense we have had a thread devoted to miniatures.

I would like this thread to be a showcase of miniatures much like our Holy Grail
threads have been for the 1813 Eks. Everyone is encouraged to post what
they have, I would only ask that the pieces posted be pre-TR era and that we
keep the broaches, rings and patriotic pieces to a minimum. I am aware that
sometimes the line between what we consider a mini and a patriotica can be
pretty thin.

As I collect mainly iron crosses, my first post is of this common Ek stickpin.
It is 16mm, enameled and still hase the remains of frosting on the rim.

Another 16mm Ek. This time it's a 1870 cross suspended from a button hole device. The great thing about this minis is that it is made in 3 pieces just as
a fullsized cross with a iron core between silver frames.

The thing that really drew me to miniatures, is the level of detail
in this little beauties.

Here is a RAO4. The center medallion measures only 5.4 mm.

Here is an RAO2 star that I got from a fellow WAF member,
16mm, I don't think it's German made.

Lastly a Vinc Mayer FJO, you see these guys around often but the workmanship is bar none!
Needle is a later addition.

Found two more that fit in here pretty good:
Centenar-Medal and 1870/71-Medal, reworked into cuff-links (note the cut-out reverse, so one can see reverse details as well!)
Regards
Hagrid

I don't collect minis, but these came with big brothers.
Marianer Kreuz has mm GR in the ring, so I assume it's Gebrüder Resch.

FJO cross has Gemsenkopfpunz (gold) and VM which would be Vinc Meyer&Söhne
