Default State Service Flag

I am a little confused by this one. I have a lot of flags and this one seems original, the fabric is right, it does not glow on the flag itself. However the white part on the edge glows and the rope seems strange. There is also no thicker square in the corners for support. My guess is someone re did the edge because the flag part seems ok. What do you all think?

Seems odd there isn't size or designation marked on the bunting....If measurements are in feet and not meters, than quite likely a copy....Parts of the swastika look off, and rope looks wrong....I don't have a good feeling from the pictures....Bodes

The swastika is fine it just looks off in the photo from the wrinkles due to the way it was folded. The rope was my issue too, the size matches the usual size in centimeters. The material just seems right to me based on my experience with other flags and the fact it doesn't glow at all and has the old smell most flags do. Like you my issue is with the rope and the white part that holds the rope. I think the flag part might be ok, but the rope must have been added post war.

Can you take closer pics of the eagle and the stitching on the corner? Not the rope side.

IMO, a modern made replica,
based on eagle wide black gaps,
poor header with c-line rope, etc.

Rope is the oily "nylonie" type , all wring as is that which holds it in place.
