Thanks a lot. I bought this one among others,
just because this uncommon "nazi salute", you know.
It is special and weird to see this salute in a US POW camp.
(notice the censured stamp in the back...)
Maybe at this time (22.8. 44 on the back as well), some prisonners still thought that Germans would win the war...

Niko...it is common knowledge there were a number of ardent Nazi's among the POW's throughout the various Camps in the USA but they were not the majority but held a certain power over the rest of the POW's. There were several incidents of POW's being killed by these groups within the Camps because they collaborated and spoke out against the war and Hitler. Some of these Nazi's were executed after the war.
