Hello Ernst,
I would say there is a connection between the makers.
Please, note that this postwar "BAMBERGER" has also the word "LANDGRAF" added on it:

Hi Enorepap,
Thanks for that picture.
So mine must be the (pre)wartime variant then.
I did a google check on the city of Bamberg and the logo makes sense.
Look at the attached picture with a major landmark of the city of Bamberg. The four spires look remarkebly similar to both the wartime and the postwar logo
So bamberg it is for my cap, not Bremen.

hallo Ernst
According to some information I have found on the net "Landgraf" is the name of the family owning the German hat-making
company Bamberger Mützen-Industrie. According to the regional Chamber
of Industry & Trade, this is their address:
Bamberger Mützen-Industrie
B. Landgraf
Kleberstr. 26
96047 Bamberg
Phone: +49(0)951-98134-0
Fax: +49(0)951-98134-56
Contact persons: Mrs. Landgraf, Mrs. Beuchler
Languages of correspondence: deutsch, englisch

Here's one that hasn't been posted yet. It's from my EM/NCO Flak.
