This is quite something…….the mags still loaded since the war, sitting in a barn. Not bad.

We find Things here as well, but not in a barn anymore. Just imagine, those People sitting on hundreds of rounds for 70+ years now…...

So, do you have any background information about your barn find of the ammo, mags, etc.? Is this grouping the result of immediate post-war informal gathering of battlefield relics in the local area where the barn is located, or was this a conscious effort to put together some sort of collection? Any idea as to the time frame in which the gathering activities took place? How long as the stuff been sitting in the barn?

Just curious about the details

the former resident from the barn living from 1892-2008 the barn is no longer
inhabited since this date . unfortunate building land is here verry expensive and so a lot of old barns where sold with astronomical prices . here it is the same case
the owner sold it and in a few weeks the barn will be demolished . the great grantparents have acumulate all this things from ww1 to ww2 . this people where no collectors as we are . this people paid no money for this things they were only collected . i found in lot amo from ww1 .

It is a ZB26/30 magazine - like 99.99% of all the "supposed" FG magazines ever found

Cool find.
