Default Safe Plastics and Fabrics for Exhibit and Storage (A Great Reference Article)

Hello everyone,

Here's a very informative article published by the US National Park Service, covering the various conservation-quality materials that can be used to safely store and display your collection. (That is, if you truly want to be on the safe side, and avoid any unwanted surprises down the road.) Although the subject has been discussed in many other threads here in the past (and I have participated in many of them myself), this single article concisely covers just about everything on the subject. The key, of course, is in using inert, chemically-stable materials. A comprehensive checklist of exactly what they, from a professional source, is always good to have.
