Default World War II. German officer's chest ?

Greeting!
On the past summer clearing out, I found a chest, which is an old man, 80 were a year uncle's.
His size 40X40X20 cm. The chest wooden, his exterior world war Wehrmacht German field grey one, from within yellow velvet I did not find a sign in him.
This is the outer leather cover
(feldgrau) is coated with colored leather, which is similar to a scaly pattern like the Mauser cartridge bags.

Without his colour the German helmets the colour of torches and gas boxes.

World War two German officer's one is a chest according to my opinion.
Here, where I live in World War II, a heavy battle took place in the town three times in 1944-1945 (Banhida-Tatabanya)

I need help with identification.

Who I showed was said to be a gramophone crate from the 1940s, but he didn't find a hole in the hoist and the box was larger than a bakelite record. But if you have a gramophone box, why is there a Wehrmach- field gray color?

I looked at the internet pictures in the German typewriter box, not lined with yellow velvet.
German typewriter boxes are in the form of a typewriter
I think clothes were stored in it.
I put my German War collection in the box.
