Default Army Dagger

Hey guys what do you think? A local seller wants $225 for it. Looks like the top of the grip is cracked and I imagine that makes it worth a lot less. He says he is firm on the price.

Although it's not a great example $225.00 is not a bad price if you just want a Army officers dagger for your collection. Does it have a maker mark?

The blade looks as if it has been re-tipped. The point and center panel do not have the right look.

Good point by James P.
If it's not re-tipped then you can always put a knot on it and it will cover that grip crack.
If re-tipped, then even for $225 I would walk-way as there is nothing special about a late Army with no maker mark. -JMO
