It's trying to be a 24" HE, but you will need better photos of the studs and the reverse.

The obverse photo initially was not what is being shown today. So this now is in fact the front of the eagle that corresponds with the reverse photo.

In light of that, better photos of the studs and all are needed for analysis. Though at this point it's not looking positive.

I'm thinking repro ... the whole reverse has what looks to be sand pits JMHO.

I'm thinking it has a chance.....Obverse detail looks good, perhaps painted gray (maybe it's soot?)....Detail of studs would be helpful, along with closeups of the top of head/wings to see if there are any file marks...Bodes
