Default Panzerschiff Deutschland Tally

Is this one ok? Something seems off but maybe it's just cotton and I don't have much experience with them.
Thanks,
Steve

Hi Steve,

You’re quite correct, that’s a modern fake.

Best regards,

There are 4 Panzerschiff Deutschland tallies on Ebay.de right now. You were hoping for a deal at 3,99Euro for a genuine one.
The ones listed for 185-220Euro are all genuine and priced accordingly to what you would find for a tally like this.
Both of the post reproductions listed by the seller also have the sheriff S not present. in "Panzerschiff" This seller also specifically states they can't make any guarantee. They are good at covering their butts.

Regards,
JustinG

haha, yeah Justin I didn't think it had a chance, I've just never seen a fake like this and I haven't seen many cotton ones.
Thanks for looking. Here's the Graf Spee

I hadn't even noticed the wrong style "s" before, funny how things like that can hide in plain sight. Thanks for pointing it out.

Well, the small "s" is not always an indication of a fake. In these cases, it is. So study the entire tally, front and back before final determination. John
