I would guess that it happened in 1951 when the Belgian Army pulled it with tank recovery vehicles away from where it was first left beside the old museum building, to a concrete pad about where it sits today. While the right track is intact in the photos of the tank being pulled, in all the other photos before it's "restoration" in the 1970s the right track is disconnected. At some point in the 1960s the tank was lifted with a crane, maybe to pave the area where it was, and the track was sort of pulled together during that lifting. (Photos from the December 1944 Museum, via the Tigers in the Ardennes site)

To bad they not take the opportunity to re-fix the track while tank was in the air, should have been an quite easy task.
