I think it has a good chance that it is something military related (canon/mortar etc.) ,the hub is made of steel, as the wheel has to sustain the recoil. Civilian carts hubs are mostly made of wood, not to mention the steel fittings of the spokes at this piece...

it's just a guess but for example the wheel of the Krupp 7.5 cm Model 1903 is very similar if not the same...

Hi,

IMO for German field-kitchen like that photo. WW1 or WW2 have the same wheels.
