Default Hauptmann Horst-Günther von Fassong

Another LW officers career compiled this time to RKT Hptm Horst Gunther von Fassong. Below is a link to my website with his career details.

Fassong's untimely demise was due to his being KIA during the January 1, 1945 attacks on Allied airfields during Operation Bodenplatte.

Enjoy
Jeremy

Looking good. You might want to correct his title to Gruppen-Kommandeur, Kommodore was higher up.

Hi Jeremy,

Really nicely done! I have had an email half-drafted for you for a few years now with additional information on some of 'your' pilots, including von Fassong. Hopefully I can get that finished and sent off to you this year.

Cheers,
Andrew A.

Thanks Andrew

Much appreciated. Any additional information on these flyers is very much welcome and if I can reciprocate with anything I have I’m happy to help.

Cheers
Jeremy
