Default SOS Report?

So how was the SEA representation at the SOS? Any party suits this year?

Anyone care to post photos of the Indo-China offerings???

Default SOS Report - any Air America or related?

Did anyone see any Air America, CAT, Continental Air Services or SAT-related items at the SOS?
Thanx,
T

Tom,
I heard of an AA Visor cap and an original wing for sale but I never found them. I sold a nice AA ball cap with a hand sewn wing, and a AA patch still sewn to a piece of a flight jacket.
Andy, I only saw one party suit that belonged to John O'connor. Jeff

Saw a display case with some really nice local-fabrication early French para material including a diploma dated 54 to a Vietnam local for para wings. Dealer had almost all ww2 german but 1 case had some cool stuff it would seem.

I saw another dealer towards the back that seemed to have 4-6 tables of US vietnam that seemed nice to a non-collector.

Default AA Patch?

Jeff,
what sort of AAM patch was on the flight-suit material?
Tom

Tom,
I think it was one of those { the professionals} patches with inked in RVN on the bottom. Sold to Tom C. Jeff

I'd really like to go next year, because of the added tables making it an even bigger show.

But then I wonder, "why bother," if there isn't going to be anything there?

A lot of money to spend traveling & staying, just to buy nothing!

It would be well worth the trip from Minn. There was enough stuff to keep me busy and come home broke. I got to handle one of the nicest Nam SF grouping I have seen in awhile before Bill Scott sold it. It had 3 different name ingraved Special Forces knifes, 2 berets with embroidered liners, uniforms ,tigers, pictures papers etc. Big bucks !!!
Owen,
I also had a few things to show or ask you , also.
Tom,
I did see the real Air America wing but could not find it later.
Regards, Mitch
