Default RAD uniforms

Ive posted pictures of my RAD uniforms in the collections forum, but i thought i would repost them here so other members can post their uniforms as well,so far ive only seen one other members RAD arbeitsman tunic,if anyone else has one and could post pictures i would love to see them-this first tunic im posting pictures of is a officers tunic (feldmeister) for the administrative branch of the RAD (green backing on the collar tabs and shoulder boards) the SA sports award is not original to this tunic,i added it for looks, there was only one set of award loops

Hello Paul,

below the unit patch you can see the threads were the party armband was sewn on,i have a original armband on it for looks (its not attached at all)but its not original to the uniform,in the first pic i took the armband off to take a pic and it exposed the threads from the original armband,it was sewn all the way around on the top and bottom-

Very nice tunic, hope to see more.

A question about the RAD uniforms during the war, did they used field-grey uniforms with brown collar ?

RAD Great Coat.

Yancy. Here's the pictures you asked for. The wife got me that for $150.00 - and that was last year. I think she did pretty good. Thanks for sharing your stuff.... love it.

Take care.
Tim
