Default Unknown Short Sword

Can anyone tell me what exactly this short sword is and what period it dates from? I’m fairly certain the maker is Alexander Coppel. Any help is appreciated!

A beautiful example of a Baden Polizei Seitengewehr. I believe this maker mark was used in the late Weimar period into the early 3R.

Now you've got to find a frog that'll accommodate that oval frog lug and a Baden knot.
