Default Civilian defense or last ditch helmet?

Please tell me what kind of helmet I´ve purchased. The shell is very similar to the typical army style helmets. The liner consists of an unknown fabric. There´re also some blood stains in the liner. Could this be a late war last ditch army helmet or "only" a late war civilian defense one?

Thank´s for the translation. Now it would be interesting if Kawaguchi was a member of the IJA or if he was a civilian.

Civilian, I think. No star, cloth liner. Here's a similar Civil Defense Helmet upon which Nick Komiya comments:

The difference is that the helmet Nick comments on had additional stamped lettering an an unauthorized star.
