A very nice well used example Dean, congrats on your pick up. Possibly the most repaired cover that I have seen, obviously spent a long time in service. Regards, Bill

I would have thought that the faded outline of the star was proof enough that it was once there. No rocket science, just basic stuff....

Thanks for looking over the new photos,
This one has definitely spent its time on the cobbles ! What’s interesting is the mud and sand still on it and the numerous repairs showing actual field use.

I think we are talking about different things here, there was never a patch on this helmet camouflage cover.

There never was a patch on the front

The star is fixed firmly underneath the cover as per photo
