Default MP 41 dummy gun for discussion

Hey folks,

Recently picked this up with a good handful of daggers. Ive seen MP 40 dummy guns (crazy expensive) but not MP 41 with the wood..

It has a solid receiver and Nothing moves. Looks like the barrel, lower receiver and stock are original.

It has some stamps on the barrel. The mag is marked well too..see pics

Holy Crap.. I just looked them up on IMA and they have them up for $4400 but sold out!

Any info on the stamps or current value? Ive had a few dummy guns over the years but I get bored with them and they dont stick around long.

Shoot me a note here or a PM

thanks J

The barrel looks like it has "COS" stamped in.

Any idea how to take the barrel off.. Love to see the condition.

IMA has high visibility, a big following, and incredible patience. A realistic price would be more like 1500 for what you have got, but if you are willing to shop it around for years and years and you figure out a way to get high-profile exposure, you might do better. I have seen complete kits minus receiver sell for 2k in the past year on gunbroker and various sites. But they had the bolt and recoil assembly in them which is a very important part, and which your dummy gun lacks.

The above is solid info. -
I have been buying and selling these quite regularly for some time.
MP34's, MP40's, MP44's and MG's -

I have not had an MP41, but the price sounds about right.
The bolt is not the same as an MP40 one, as I did have an MP41 bolt for a while.
