germanmedals,
The ribbon bar shown in the photos and the one on the tunic pictured are not the same. The one in the picture is correct but the one on the tunic is not. Although that could be due to the tailor that sewed it on. I would need much better pictures of how the insignia and ribbon bar are sewn to the uniforms before I would consider buying this set. As for price, an itemized list of what is included in this lot would be needed before anyone could even make a guess. The name could have a significant impact on the price. Although, with the highest award displayed only being en EKII perhaps not. Thanks for posting the set. It should create an interesting thread.
Regards,
Gordon

In WW2 he was in Panzer Jäger Grossdeutchland unit and received EK1 (which is on the ribbonbar, not only EK2), IAB and woulnd badge. Finishing the war of rank Leutnant and military career as General.

germanmedals,
An amazingly complete group to a BW General officer. I have never seen anything like this for sale before. I apologize for missing the EK1. Thanks for posting the additional pictures.
Regards,
Gordon

This is a VERY special grouping for a number of reasons.
As for value, individually the jackets are worth somewhere in the EUR 200 to 300 range. That is what I've seen unnamed, original (not put together) jackets go for in the last few years. The hat is probably worth EUR 80. Together, with documentation and extras? Quite a lot of money I should think.

Only place that i have seen BW stuff for sale is Ebay. There jacketscgo for like you said...even maybe un rage 300-400. But here the main factor is the proveniance and all the orher documents, pictures.... i will do som more research and then place it for sale. Would 2000 eur ba a fair price for such lot?

Here's my 2 cents. I think that might be overpriced. I say that because he is not an RK winner or even DKiG. I've seen a uniform jacket with sort of the same ribbon bar that didn't sell for a hundred euro's. People are tight now when something is sold at 2,000 euro's. Do you have his 57 medals and mini chain? You have great provenance on the group but every one wants the RK winner and will save their money for that. I'm not telling you not to ask for that price, just don't be surprised if nobody responds.
Regards,
Rudy

The group is realy big,...all together weights about 18 kilos. I'm still trying to get a fair evaluation so i can know what to put it on the market. I have no idea about BW militaria and no collectors of this era, so all this is completely unknown for me. But somewhere you have to start, thats why i asked about 2000. when i get the lot i will post more pictures so you can have a better idea what all is in it.
