SA Sports Badge question (no maker mark?)
Is it possible that an SA Sports badge not have a maker mark? I've had this badge in my collection, and just recently took a good look at the inscription.

Bottom hinge is almost identical to a bronze REDO.

SA Sports Badge Question
Yes...I have one Silver SA Sports Badge with no markings at all. The pin is strange for me since it has a "thick" catch hook..I'd "think" they'd match...but I have seen a lot of "strange" stuff. What type is it...1st, 2nd, or 3rd???

The badge that I have has "Eisentum Der Obersten S.A. Fuhrung" in raised lettering. Which I believe is a "Type 3" badge. (1939 through 1944)
I guess what I'm most puzzled about is that there is not a maker mark.

A few close up photos of the hinge and catch. Anyone have any thoughts about this particular badge?

The badge is not magnetic. The hinge and catch are also not magnetic. BUT, the needle is magnetic.

I thought I’d bump this to the top, yes ... 9 years later.
Would like to hear thoughts about a bronze SA sports badge with no maker. (See top of thread for photos)
Is an SA Sports badge with no maker common?
