Default 2 gestapo warrant discs for review

Hello gents,

these two discs has been offered to me. Both are ground dug and looks quite good IMO. What is your opinion?

Thank you very much for any input!

Any particular reason you are hiding the disc numbers? That's a shame. Never seen that ground reaction to nickle silver, but who knows what was in the soil.

Joe,

I had a piece in my collection that was found in a small forest in the Czech Republic that was very similar in appearance and condition to the second disc shown above which incidentally, is the one I like the most.

Both original.

How about the serial numbers?

Important to us disk collectors.

I know G-Man, but it irks me when info is withheld when asking for a buy opinion. A gound dug one I bought from Don some years ago wasn't in as decent shape, but a quick bath in diluted muriatic acid cleaned it up nicely. I admired it for a few years and moved it on at an SOS. Weren't the 9xxx range for a good number of agent in the Protectorate?

The top one clearly is numbered 9104.
Se bottom one is most likely 9135 or 8135.

I'd still like to see the full backs of the discs!

Unfortunately, the 9xxx series is a bit too sporadic to narrow down specifically but yes, there are a few associated with the Protectorate as well as parts of Northern Europe.

Based on the numbers, Scandinavia perhaps?
