I have been rather quiet here for a long time but I recently bought a bunch of tinnies and there are some beauties which I would like to show you. For most I will only post the front but if you wish to see the reverse I can do that as well. Feel free to comment/criticize. Even though I have been at this for a while I could be mistaken about the authenticity of any of them. Especially since there are some expensive ones here.
Enjoy

these are ones that I could not find in Tieste. I looked up any word or phrase I thought might work. If I missed it then please point me in the right direction.
Deutschlandfahrt 1938
Geherlaenderkampf Deutschland - Schweden in Berlin am 25.5.1941 - I know some of these enamel ones are controversial but I like it - what do you think?
NSDAP Ortsgr. Mehltheuer 1924-1934
Ostmarkflugtag Landsberg Warthe 1934
Ostpommerscher Bauerntag Starkow Mai 1934 Blut und Boden
Schul- u. Heimatfest Fraureuth 1938
Spielzeugschau Sonneberg 1933 - Tieste has a similar one for 1935
No expert and I only have a few unfortunately so I should get rolling before they all dissapear but some beautiful tinnies in there Kurt, I particularly like your flugtag ones but all are nice and in good condition
As you know Curt, many day and event badges are not listed in Tieste. I too have quite a few of these, as do many other collectors.
Especially like your flugtag tinnies as well. Also the condition of them all is exceptional.
The Olympiad Berlin enamel is a fake/fantasy, the Olympic committee did not allow the use of national symbols in conjunction with Olympic ones, one or two of the other enamels in that row also give me pause for thought as well, some have been discussed before, one of the Jager badges comes to mind, but the memory is not what it was.
Regards,
Pete

thanks Jean-Claude - lots more out there and I wish you luck building your collection. I have always had a soft spot for anything to do with flight.

Hi Pete - yes, I knew the Olympic one had been up for discussion before. As mentioned I was faced with an all or nothing situation and went for it. I think you have also seen before that I do particularly like the flight tinnies. Right from when I was about 6 years old I got interested in planes and pilots.
Congratulations! You've got some really exceptional pieces in this haul! The Cottbus flugtag tinnie is one I've been looking for, for "many moons"; out of the few I've ever seen offered for sale (3), I've yet to see one that was even remotely close to the condition of the one you're showing here.
