Indeed great find Billy! There are some really gorgeous and rare examples in there, and super mint. Cannot get much better than that in this hobby!

Looking forward to seeing more details of the contents.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

So who put this together? When? Why? All the descriptions are in English...

I'm not debating originality. Just wondering who went to all this trouble to create an English-language display collection.

Amazing !

Same questions as Hank . The header reads The Ludenscheid Display case and .... where some one later added the English plates ?

Years ago an old dude in Waco Tx. ran across a vet who had a shoebox full of Ludenscheid stuff. He had FIVE of the bronze Spanish crosses in miniature that were given to families of KIAs

Had a Knights Cross of the War Service Cross without Swords. You could hold it by the ribbon and thump with your finger and it sounded like a bell...……

All long gone.

Cheapest bastard I ever met: turned down a Postschutz dolch for $4.00 and a Prinz Eugen sword with SS portapee for $35.00.
You must the hammer or the anvil be.

Very nice Schickles and very nice Deumer Oaks and O&S. The other material is wonderful, too. Tremendous group.

Just fantastic. Would it be possible to post good photos front and back of the KM badges in the KM forum? It would be a treat to see which makers they are, especially the 2nd pattern S-Boat since there isn’t a known Lüdenscheid-based maker of that one.

Best regards,

I’m still stuck on just how pristine that DK is. Interesting that the RK KvKs seem to be zinc and that the one without swords seems to be one with swords (note the ribbed hangers), with the swords removed. Zinc display pieces with the frosting removed. S&L????
Why is patience a virtue, why can't hurry the f*** up be a virtue.

Looking for an original 50 years faithful work/service medal
