Thanks guys. These two, plus the cap, came from Mike at Virtual Grenadier. Both are in fabulous condition.

Here’s a restored antique cabinet full of junk. The bayonet on the bottom shelf is a WWI sawtooth that my father found in the rafters of an old house he moved in to years ago.

Very nice Bob, and in mint condition, you sure find the nice ones, and the cabinet and the goodies inside make a great display.

Thanks Lou. This one is virtually mint (and rare). It is from another one of the many connections I have made through the past ten years of collecting. I've gotten to know some exceptional people in this hobby.

Very nice indeed Bob!

This was my interest area in the 1990's (and tropical). However, beware, it can be a financial 'black hole' !

Best regards, Paul

Thanks Paul. Good ones like this are expensive, but I wanted to add an SS to my NCO collection and was lucky enough to have had one offered to me and I was able to trade some items as partial payment. I can see adding an M43 cap and maybe one more helmet, but I have no real intention of going crazy with SS.

Then again, a nice M36 or M40 EM tunic would be great as well....oh, that's right, I'm not an SS collector.

This one is terrific, and would be very difficult to upgrade.
