Default M35 D/D Luftwaffe for review.

This helmet was a direct Vet purchase some twenty or more years ago. I am just the second owner of it since WW2. It is a SE66 with tight original liner and chinstrap.
"Sand Camo" finish as you see. The puzzling thing is the outline of the tri-color decal and another decal on the right side. Your thoughts please.

It looks like there are traces of the same blue and red paint on the eagles wings. The tri colour shield has been poorly added over another white one. May have been done post war like the grey over paint.

Hi Mike,
I love the Adler...its one of those that you need to see in the flesh to make a correct assessment ..on my laptop the paint looks silver,obviously it isn't,sorry to bring nothing to the party
