There is not one atom in this helmet which is original.

It does state Post-war in the description

Very rare and very hard to find early Postwar FJ Helmet. An original FJ Helmet you will be able to find, this one not that easy.

It's interesting that this shell seems to have no rolled edge just a straight cut like M42's.

It is not an early postwar helmet. It does not have a rolled rim. It is a regular German helmet that has been cut down leaving a raw edge, with a cheap 1990's liner and straps.

Here is a photo of the BW paratrooper helmet worn for a short period at the beginning of 1956. Already by the late summer, they had transitioned to American jump helmets. It looks nothing like the silly fake being sold as original postwar for more than $2000 on eStand.
