Default Air gunner

Incoming new bird . Juncker air gunner with observer rayed plate . Interesting how the eagle has been positioned slightly up to cover the slots , seems to be a juncker worked piece as the rivets are correct to that maker .

Aaah!
Now , that I know who won it, it does not hurt that much anymore....
Congratulation! Nice catch for a modest price....

Thanks Hagrid, I was surprised at so few bids and the low finish price .

Just as an update ,badge has now arrived . As an added bonus it came with its own field grey backing . Clearly an observer that has been revamped by Juncker judging by the rivets . Back plate has V11 scratched on it ,if only it could talk !
I’m a happy bunny !

Very cool, Ferg. I've been looking for one for quite awhile now.

Ferg, I agree about the contemporary Juncker traces and am still unhappy because I overslept the end of the auction...
It has an odd look to it because the tips of the wings had to be clipped a little bit to fit into the given space inside the wreath.
But I like it!
