Default General Collar Tabs for Review (WW1? / WW2?)

Greetings, I purchased a collection of boards and tabs and these 3 pairs were in it. I will be posting these to the Imperial forum as well just in case because I suspect that at least 2 of the pairs are from that era. The work on all 3 pairs is very well done and the buckram backing is correct in comparison to other boards / tabs from those eras. However, I would appreciate any insight as to originality / what branches these would represent. I like them but if theyre bad, it is what it is. Thanks in advance!

Hi.

WW11 style, however I do not like the the Red or Green tabs. The red and green wool looks okay.. But they do not do it for me.
I like the blue tabs tho. ( they a better pics too )

Red is the default colour for all branches of the army.
The Green ones are for Admin.
The blue are for costal Artillery etc.

Best

Thank you for the input. Ive shown them to various collectors outside of WAF and alot of people like all 3. Are there any photos I could take / closeups of the green and red tabs that you would like to see? Ill take some closeups in about an hour and post them. Thank you!

Default tabs

Hi there are a lot who don't like the red and the green tabs because they don't have the three balls at the end. Cliff

Plenty of period tabs had deformed or no balls at all. That's not a valid criteria. Rather, a matter of craftsmanship.

I don't care for any of the sets. The detail just isn't what I would expect. Member Kurt here is a better judge of them than I, however, and I know he has handled original versions of damned near every General's tab that was made.

IMO all three sets have poor details, not the least is the shape of the mounting and closeness to the edge of most of the ends. Just not III Reichy enough for me.
