Default Luftwaffe Officer Candidate cap questions

Would a mid-war Luftwaffe officer candidate (Oberfähnrich) where officer or EM versions of headgear (visors, M-43s, etc.)?

I've heard of an EM visor with officers chincord, but wasn't sure if that was a legit thing, done on occasion, or actually the regulation combination for this rank.

Thanks in advance!

Default visor cap

Thanks for sharing, but that doesn't answer my question.

What is the correct cap configuration for an officer candidate?

Did they wear EM caps or officer caps?

Is the "upgrade" cap really just an officer's cap that used to be EM, or is that combination indicative of the officer candidate rank?

What about M-43 or overseas caps?

EM or Officer style?

Thanks.

I have seen the visors both as EM with officer cord and EM with officer bullion insignia. The one in my collection (and I apologize for the terrible photo) has officer bullion.
