Default KM dagger??

I have this Horster dagger but I presume it is a post 1945 production.
any comments?
could some part be original.

Yes, the Horster logo is post war. Can't tell on other parts.

Were these daggers produced for allied soldiers after the war?
the dagger really seems old and of good quality.

Produced for German Navy Post-war.
They had a anchor in the pommel instead of the swas.

The one you show looks like it has pressed in scabbard bands (as part of the scabbard). Mostly a post-war feature, however, seen as a very late feature on 'last ditch' period daggers.

I'm not a navy expert, but IMO it looks like a post-war dagger that had the pommel replaced.

Wait for other opinions.

Hello.

Like Serge M. already said is it a postwar dagger. The pommel has been replaced and looks to be of WKC design.
