Default Coburg Badge opinion

This was in an auction today. there was something about it that just didn't seem right. The catch is facing the wrong way from what I have read about catch pins. Anyway, does it look good or bad. It sold, by the way, for $330.

Is a little difficult for me to tell from the pics but it could well be that some lucky individual got the bargain of their collecting lifetime !!

Someone got a steal indeed!

The badge looks fine but the pin and attachment looks to have been replaced along the way.

I was the lucky one, I posted it several days ago in the Coburg thread in the political forum for opinions. Not these more detailed pictures that are posted in this thread. I felt pretty good about it being a good one. Never would of imagined it would of sold that cheap.

Congratulations, great catch ! Your gain, the seller's loss.
