There is no doubt for me at all that this is a B-frame. The frame flaws are typical for B-frames. As for the knee flaw - even though the pics are rather poor - picture two shows the knee flaw. The rest of the pics just hide it due to picture quality IMO.

So again, to me there is not the slightest doubt about this being a B-frame.
I have several different variants of B-frame RK’s - from really early ones to later productions ones - to compare them. No need for Maerz’s book.

Why not get some more option - Gentry is the man with fantastic knowledge about these frames.

Regards,
Alex

In addition I also would like to add, that this is not even an early cross but a rather mid period production B-frame. Never the less, there is no doubt that this is a beautiful cross.

I agree with Alex completely that this is "B" frame, not early enough to be totally without raised beading flaws, but not late enough to have extensive beading flaws.
It's a very nice cross!

Here's the "bridge flaw" at the 6-9 o'clock arm intersection.

Hi guys,

Late to the party, and also had to check the book to be sure ...

But indeed a "B" frame as I think I spotted the knee flaw in one of the snapshots.
Its a great looking cross, but lovely ribbon and good ( but later ) case !!!
