Kesselring's fetched $731,600 recently. But as i have read, a few big collectors missed it by not knowing it was being auctioned. And a dealer bought it for resell (from what i've read), so it will be interesting.

I do remember seeing GFM Hindenburg's baton on Thies's auction. Wow!!!! The Hindy baton had high quality German workmanship!!!! It was awarded to him by Kaiser Wilhelm II in 1914. Needs the picture posted here for collectors to see Hindy's GFM baton. Thanks! James

The following factors each collector I think will face when collecting this kind of "high-end" baton. All answers ,step by step, should be" Yes" .
1. Am I really that interested in this item and willing to do a lots of research about it?
2. Am I lucky enough in my life time be able to see one available?
2. Is my wallet OK?
3. Will my dealer/contact be able to locate and get it?
