Default German Camo Crate

Got this through a collector friend in Norway. These camouflaged wooden crates were more common before. Got it fairly cheap. Great for displaying helmets and other field gear. Take a look.

I'm I corect stating the camo sheme on thewe was mostly if not always factory applied?
