Default tropical boots

Hi guys

These LW tropical boots are part, like the shirt I posted recently, of my HG artilleryman mannequin during the Italian and German counterattack in Sicily towards Gela on July 11, 1943.
They are sun faded and used.
It is very difficult to find some marks because they have been very used. However in the right boot on the upper inner leather strip I can see the traces of four letters with great difficulty.. the first is a "B", the third is a "t" and fourth is "a".
The last two are in italics. Most likely "Bata" under they we can see a number like 9 and traces of other....
Their faded color is more olive than tan, this is unusual but after all I have a pair of Heer tropical 3rd pattern high cut boots in tan canvas!

your opinions are welcome
Ciao Marco

You say that they're very used, but I personally think that they haven't been used that much ..
With all the dirt etc I would say not for me, they look artificial aged to me and I see things that I don't like to start with the thick leather.
From the pics I don't like the soles.
I hope I'm wrong ..
Do you have pics of the back side of the heel area ?

Jos.

I don't know if there are original, but I'm sure they were never used

Thanks guys for your opinions...
please why do you say the haven't been used too much?
I found them in Italy stored on a shelf in a house cellar.
They were very dusty and full of cobwebs, I cleaned them and gave back their form that had been lost.
Please what is wrong in the soles?
Please Jos what do you want to see in the back side of the heel area, so I can better photograph it.
thanks in advance for your awaited replies.
Marco

you're right, I wrong term in my description, they were not very used but certainly very spoiled, perhaps from a poor storage...however they are not completely unworn.

i think you're wrong. none of the leather parts show wear.
you have scratches, but look at the leather parts there are no wear and the shoes are not broken nor the heel

ok friend
We admit that they have never been used, but for this reason can we say they are not original?

To me these boots are reproductions.
Also found some pairs like these in my files and all have the same " worn and dirty " look, while the leather and soles look unworn.
Also the leather is too thick and the heels are wrong, plus there are some other things.

I have nothing to contribute to "original", but the letters are the manufacturer BATA
