Default IJN helmet badge

Hello everyone,
What are your thoughts on the authenticity of this helmet badge? I still don't know these that well. Your help is greatly appreciated. Its got some age and use, but could just be an old repo. The thing that bothers me about it, is that the details are not very crisp. Please let me know what you think, Thanks.

That was cheap. No offense but if you have a helmet that needs one you have to step up to the plate and swing for the fence - no base hits will do it. A IJN helmet without the anchor is like a plane without an engine... put in the engine and the value soars

I agree. That's the going rate on the low side. I buy them when I can & when the price is right. You need many to try & come as close to paint color match as possible
