Although not a completed display because I canít Find a mannequin small enough to fit this set, I thought I would share it anyway because itís one of my favorites. I havenít often seen these sapper type tee shirts, especially in black. Sorry the pic is sideways.

Try yanks manikins...they have an extra small manikin for these kind of uniforms...maybe it will fit......

I will do that, thank you. This shirt and shorts looks like it will fit a twelve year old.

Very interesting uniform. It obviously closely resembles the NVA "undress" uniform, which is itself pretty uncommon, but just has a different material and color. Does it have a button on the top of the shoulder? And can you post a photo of the neck /shoulder area please?

VPEP, here's my NVA undress uniform. It is also very small sized but the torso fits my Yanks Asian mannequin pretty well - the pants not so much as they are pretty highwater. I'd like to compare the construction with yours, also does yours have a tag in the collar? I like your black boonie too, looks very salty.

Here is a closeup of the neck area so you can see the button closure.

Thanks VPEP, for taking the time to post the photos. Your uniform is constructed exactly like mine, just in black and definitely more cottage industry or jungle made. The reference intelligence manual, ST-24 calls it the NVA Undress in brown.
This one looks more for use by the VC, and is really neat and unusual. Thanks again for sharing.

Mel
