Nice Period one with Crimped Slot Brooch, sadly as so often ruined by the Plane Device, this goes on the Occupation Medals.
Also for me, the Device is Modern and not Period.

Nice, too.
I like it as nearly everything from my Home City.
There you have the right placement for the Airlift Device.

There is frequently confusion about some American medals and devices, and the "Humane Action" medal is a great example. I think that there were more than a few fellows in the Quartermaster Depot who thought "Well, it's a medal for an airlift operation. It must get a little plane thingy on the ribbon." I put it in the same category of the uniforms that I have seen of men or officers in the field artillery who were wearing the collar insignia for the Coast Artillery ("Hey, it's cannon barrels, right?) or the uniforms that I have seen where the depot made no distinction between the "Army of Occupation Medal" of World War I and the "Occupation Medal" for World War II.
